In the second day of the field trip, after lunch, we all prepared our stuff and went camping; this was very exciting because we all wanted to know how it was to live in the nature. We arrived to the place and Jacob started teaching us Survival Skills, in this afternoon he tought us key things like not sleeping directly on the ground and that the number 1 priority was shelter. We also learned how to produce fire if we needed to survive in the rain forest, this was obtained by the “drill bow technique” this technique consisted on rubbing two wooden stick to make friction so it coul generate fire.
In the Reserve of Tambopata you could also collect thing to eat that could help you survive, you can find fruit like bananas and berries, another thing you could eat are termites, these animals are full of protein and fat, nutrients thatbyou would loose if you get lost and tired in the jungle.
These are some of the things you could eat:

The last thing Jacob and Jesus tought us was how to purify the water so we did not get intoxicated with dirty water if we get lost in the tropical rainforest. This was obtained by heating the water till al bacteria was killed. Another thing we were tought about water is that you could obtain it by a process called :Solar still.
I found an story abut two frenchmen that got lost in this tropical rainforest for 7 weeks. It is an intence story and the frenchmens tell things like "I was so hungry that I even had a go at the turtle’s shell and tucked into his claws" and they had to eat things that they never dreemed before in order two survivive. Thankfully this two frenchmans lived two tell this frightening but interesting story to the world.
